Here are the creations during the Met gala in New York
Hollywood stars, world artists and other celebrities defiled on the red carpet outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Monday night’s New York. The event is organized annually by fashion magazine Vogue, almost continuously since 1948, with expensive entrance tickets and aims to pay for the museum’s clothing design department.
This year’s Galate theme was classified « Tailored for you » and would fit the exhibition « Superfine: Tailoring Black Style » for which the party intends to be vernissage – as usual open to the guests’ almost completely free interpretations. Many people wore something black, while others took hold of the somewhat implied message to in some way pay tribute to the history, contribution and significance of the American black population.
Consequently, the usual hosts and party committees were also made up of a number of prominent black actors, artists and other famous faces such as Andre 3000, Ayo Edebiri, Pharrell Williams, Janelle Monae, Spike Lee, Lewis Hamilton and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Several closest regulars attended, such as Rihanna, Giselle Bündchen and Anna Wintour, but also surprising people such as Kamala Harris.
