Henry Fonda from the Dutch settlement family had special features. « He united Clark Gable’s ironic charm, Gary Cooper’s freedom, Spencer Tracy’s steadfast, and James Stewart’s immediacy. In the eyes of many, he embodied the American idea, » Newsweek wrote in 1982. At the same time, the rumors had a scandal figure. His five marriages, the suicide of his second wife, his many women, and his conflict with his children-Jane and Peter, provided a constant theme for Zugfirk. Then who was he really? Is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a Hollywood, who had a bake in the light of the dream city during the day, but did a life -giving lifestyle at night and fried life with a big spoon? Fonda’s tragedy is that while he has achieved everything as an actor, what an actor could achieve in the dream city-an Oscar and even oeuvre Oscar-he lived with serious problems as a private person and a father.

His great character depicting ability has already baked his first films, establishing his career and reputation with cinemas like we live only once, the young man and the fruit ripens. The western has always been close to Fonda’s heart, welcoming it to the saddle. He played Jesse James, the idol of the people, the strange case, who questioned the legitimacy of self -righteousness, and played in the film, as a summary of the genre, The Wild West Heroes. For us, however, the most memorable one was once a wild west in which Sergio Leone made an unscrupulous band from a good man. But there is almost no genre in which he has not made lasting. He was the Pierre Bezuhov of the War and Peace, the 8th jury of the twelve angry people, the 50 hours of death. His memory is preserved by the film.

No wonder they left home as soon as they could. As a father, Henry Fonda went bankrupt, and the excellent actor was unable to find a common voice with his children. In addition, he devoured the women, until in 1965 he had a fifth marriage with Shirley Adams Stewardes and photo model, with whom he eventually stayed with him until his death.
