Henrik Sass Larsen case takes worrying turn: crucial evidence has disappeared

The Copenhagen Police have not wanted to confirm or deny to Ekstra Bladet whether the doll is in their custody and does not want to comment on the information about the lack of evidence. The police have also not wanted to disclose what the four specified « unknown items » on the cost list covered specifically.

According to the newspaper’s sources, the police are reportedly not in possession of the doll, which raises questions about the evidence in a case in which the ownership of the illegal object constitutes an independent indictment.

During the search in July 2023, large quantities of abuse material were found on children – a total of 6242 images and 2231 videos. Among the material were 252 images and 197 videos classified as category 3, which is referred to as the grossest form of abuse material.

On February 29, 2024, police found another three photos and 16 videos on an iPhone and a computer that also belonged to Sass Larsen. These were in categories 1 and 2.

Henrik Sass Larsen has commented in writing about the case and pleads guilty to all charges. In a press release he says:

« I have never ever hurt a child – and will never do it. My errand has been the exact opposite. »

The case is still being dealt with by the authorities and a date of the trial has not yet been established.
