Held a basketball practice at a city council meeting
Basketball club Athens today went down to the Reykjavík City Hall for basketball practice. The reason for this is that Athens is losing its housing in Austurberg because it has not been possible to reach an agreement with the City of Reykjavik on the renewal of a operating contract with the company.
The exercise was held to protest that decision, but a meeting of the Reykjavik City Council began at noon and was in progress during the exercise.

A panic from the exercise, which took place outside the town hall, came to the city council meeting and the President of the City Council had to pause a meeting because of the leaving, in the middle of the Pirate mayor Dóra Bjartar. After the exercise, the practitioners entered the town hall and watched the city council meeting.
Representatives of the Athens sports club have reported that there is no other option in the position but to discontinue the operation of Athens if the City of Reykjavik does not renew a operating agreement with the company.
