The heat and mobility plan will come into effect in Knokke for the first time on Thursday and Friday. The center will close for cars from 12.30 pm. « The police expect a large influx, » reports the municipal administration, which immediately made an adjustment after the test day last week.
A lot of ink has already flowed over the heat and mobility plan in Knokke-Heist. Last week another test day took place. On top days – when it gets tropical hot – the municipality will close the center of Knokke for cars.
« To keep the traffic stew controllable, avoid parking problems and prevent traffic jams, » it sounds in a announcement. Only the local traffic is allowed then. Agents also check incoming cars on Natiënlaan.
Perimeter is enlarged
On Thursday 12 and Friday 13 June it is prize for the first time. A perimeter is set from 12.30 to 18 hours and cars are no longer allowed through.
