Heat numbers about 20 points throughout the week
The weather is now in the entire country, but the meteorologist at the Icelandic Meteorological Office says that the weather will be similarly good at the weekend.
« Yes, yes, it looks like this will be at least something until the weekend, » says Eiríkur Örn Jóhannesson, meteorologist at the Icelandic Meteorological Office, asked if the good weather that Icelanders woke up this morning will continue.
Something cloud extract and maybe a little sill
In general, sunshine can be expected in the entire country, though with a few exceptions in the south and southwest of the country.
« It occasionally comes to some cloud concentrate and maybe some little sill, but the rest of the country is in good shape, » explains Eiríkur Örn.
He adds, however, that there will be a lot of fog on the coast of the country, especially at night and in the morning.
The weather forecast is at its best throughout the week, but this is the weather outlook on Sunday.

Height over the Faroe Islands to thank
Asked what heat figures can be expected this week, says Eiríkur:
« It can be expected that the maximum temperature of as good as every day will be around 20 degrees, plus, minus.
Asked what explains this sunny and warm weather in the whole country, Eiríkur explains that it is due to height over the Faroe Islands.
« What explains why this is happening now is that it is a height south of the country that is coming across the Faroe Islands. When we get such powerful heights, the weather can often be so good in most or all parts of the country. »
