Heart -warming scene on E313: Police stop traffic for a moment to have mother duck and her chicks crossed (Lummen)

The federal road police saved a duck family on the E313 on Sunday afternoon, just before the Klaverblad. « We have stopped the traffic for a moment to safely cross Moedende and her seven chicks, » says first inspector Raf Costermans.
At 1 pm the first reports arrived at the road police that a duck family ran on the E313. « We drove out with our Volvo, but we didn’t see any trace of the animals, » says Raf Costermans of the Hasselt traffic post. “At 3.15 pm we went looking again again and we drove about 7 kilometers block. Just less than a kilometer in front of the cloverleaf we saw the mother duck running against the central reservation, and the seven little ones followed her neatly in a row. We then had the traffic safely. Those were hundreds of vehicles. The first drivers saw the Laamte Safe Laamte Safe. E313, and the Mother Duck immediately jumped in all the little ones.
