Healthy trees retreated to the children's center. People are in shock, tears flow
« Huge ruthlessness. The flood after us. We knew that the children's center would be rebuilt, but no one thought that large, mature, healthy trees along the land and in the corners, tens of meters from the building.
The woman lives in an apartment building in close proximity to the Pluto Center, which provides immediate assistance to children who lost their home. The felling that took place on Tuesday watched the window. She cried. « They have been destroyed in such a ruthless way. I haven't seen that yet, so devastate trees, » she said.
How heavy technology with jaws shakes with a linden tree, which has grown at the fence for about six decades, as it gradually grabbed the crown and other parts and, as the workers cut it through the chainsaws, also watched Anna Jarošová.
« The flowers were wrapped every year, it was beautiful. I thought they would cut down only trees that would bother in the construction, but felled all. Even those around the perimeter of the fence, tens of meters from the planned building, » she described.
She couldn't look at the fall of other trees. She took everything, the day of the Havířov Town Hall was made to the Department of the Havířov Town Hall, and the mayor of Havířov, Ondřej Baránek and the governor Josef Bělic, approached the Mayor of Havířov and the director of Pluto.
« We can't just leave it. Almost Holina remained. If we knew in advance, we would write a petition. When they were a project, or mention, » Jarošová added.
The trees fell due to the reconstruction of the children's center in Hornická Street, which was in a poor condition. Its founder is the governor, which after the demolition of the original building builds two new buildings with a modern background for 73 million crowns.
« The new building will be more extensive than the original building. Felled trees that are not directly in the construction collision, interfere with the DN 600 sewer protection zone or are in the hot water pipeline.
Replacement planting yes. But elsewhere
She added that felling was allowed by a municipality issued by a territorial decision. « The circuit of the parties was all owners of neighboring land and the authorities concerned who could comment or object to the documents within the administrative proceedings.
Felling concerns sixteen trees, thirteen of which mature – with a trunk of over 80 centimeters at a height of 130 centimeters. After the reconstruction, only grassy areas are expected after the reconstruction. The replacement planting will be twenty oaks anywhere in the town of Havířov.
« Everything is part of the project documentation. We are very sorry for the trees, but because of the construction it was not possible to do otherwise, » said Zuzana Klimszová, director of the Pluto Children's Center. The reconstruction is necessary, it has already leaked to the original building, it was unfit, nor did it meet the layout.
The spokesman of the mining municipality of Rosalia Seidl Pokorná said that the office had no opportunity to reverse the process. « Given that it is an investment and land in the exclusive ownership of the Moravian -Silesian Region, the Statutory City of Havířov as a self -government cannot interfere with the realization of this intention. »
She added that from the available information the town hall knows that the reason for the felling was not only the demolition of the old building and the construction of new ones, but the IS is calculated by reconstruction of fencing and networks. « We support the purpose of the new building because it is the construction of the crisis center. It provides immediate assistance to endangered and abused children who need a specific approach and background to feel safe, » she concluded.
People from neighboring apartment buildings did not know the details of the project because they were not parties. This was Heimstaden, the owner of the apartments. « We were not asked to issue a separate opinion on the construction or felling of tree species during the construction procedure. We were only informed that substitute planting would be carried out, » said Kateřina Piechowicz, a spokesman for the company.
Some people around are considering moving. In addition to mature trees, they lived for years, and the view of the muddy holina hurts them.
The construction of the Pluto Children's Center will take a year, followed by interiors and equipping. The start of operation is planned at the latest in May next year.
The Pluto Children's Crisis Center will stand between the streets of Znřečná, Mining and Kpt. Jasioka in Havířov – middle dry.
