Fiľakovo. Up to two World Champions Titles won young talents of the bowling sections (KO) FTC Fiľakovo at the U15 and U19 championship in Székesfehérvár, Hungary (23 – 27 5.). Róbert Kluka and Jakub Vaculčiak won the most valuable medals in the strong competition of the best skaters in the world.

Kluka became a junior world champion in mixed couple with Daniela Mócová from Podbrezová when they defeated the other fifteen pairs.

« It wasn’t easy and all the knockout matches had to be decided in a shootout. Fortunately, we were always the more successful couple on the track, » Kluka described.

Vaculčiak captured the title in the U15 individuals after he overcame fifteen opponents after a successful qualification in the final. « I had a well -set head. I didn’t feel stress or pressure and played in peace. I think it decided, » he said.

Rimavská Sobota, who is now defending the colors of Fiľakova, has won his most valuable title in Hungary. In the showcase he has silver from the Slovak Championship and the World Cup medal collection. « It’s an incredible feeling, » he stressed.

The Fiľakov club had four representatives at the championship. In addition to the aforementioned pair, Damián Knapp and Patrik Kovács competed, but who failed to fight for the medal.

However, coach KO FTC Fiľakovo Ladislav Flachbart is fully satisfied. « Slovakia is one of the top at the world scene and I am pleased that it is also due to our section, » he said.

In Fiľakov already one medal of the world champion have, in 2019 it was provided by Erik Gallo. Kluka and Vaculčiak doubled his success after six years.

« The titles are all the more valuable because the quality of players from other states is now much higher and getting a medal is much more demanding. I am proud of all four guys, » Flachbart said.

The gold medals of the boy and Vaculčiak were not the only success of the Slovak expedition. The U19 team composed of Daniela Mócová (Podbrezová), Sofia Matis (Hlohovec), Aneta Siváková (Stará Turá), Ema Mazániková (Trenčín) and Šarlota Sabová (Podbrezová) became the best in the world. Šarlota Sabová contributed silver from sprint and Aneta Siváková won the same medal in individuals.
