He wanted to buy a small apartment in Paris, in the end he took the Countess villa: ‘I didn’t want to buy it first, but …’

How is it Lenny Kravitz (60) He said it picturesquely, he felt the love of Paris back in 1989, since he landed for the first time. Ten years later, he finally broke and decided to buy a small apartment in the city of love.

– It should not be too big, it can be beside the Senna River. One room or two, a place where I can write and enjoy – he recalled in an interview with Architectural Digest. And then, one day, the invitation of his agent and the message « I have something for you arrived, not what you were looking for, but you can look. »

And he had something to see. It was the magnificent villa of Countess Anne d’Ornano. After seeing her, he realized that the villa was his spiritual home. Although he did not want her at first, he made sure he needed it. He called the villa after his mom, Roxie.

He put in an effort, time and money to rearrange and design the old mansion owned by French aristocrats as he wants. He spends half a year there while writing and preparing songs, resting from European tour and occasionally spending time with her daughter Zoe. He spends the rest of the year on the estate on the Bahamas and on the Brazilian ranch.

In 2003, Kravitz founded Kravitz Design with the help of which the space arranged for his own. The house is adorned with dozens of crystal chandeliers, in almost every room. The pictures are strategically arranged on the walls that play shades of bright colors. The wooden piano placed up the stairs, and the garden is spread through the promenade by bamboo.

There are also family items, pictures, photographs throughout the villa, whether it is a mom of Roxie or Santa Ruven, whose portrait is located above the dresser in the dining room.

– Thanks to Ruven, my mother went to college and why Zoe and I are what we are today. We owe everything to him – the musician said.

By the way, Kravitz performed in Pula last July, and in earlier years he also performed in Zadar and in Zagreb.
