HDZ responded to the SDP: ‘Orlic will have a lower salary in Sisak than your former mayor!’

After 12 years, the HDZ overthrew the SDP in Sisak and allowed Domagoj Orlic to become mayor. The SDP there previously reported that one of the first decisions of the new mayor was to pay to themselves and the mayors. He will thus have a gross salary of € 7750.99, the HDZ confirmed on the official pages.

– The Sisak City Council has made a decision to change the Decision on the salary and other rights of the mayor and deputy mayor in the employment relationship to align with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Law on Salary in Local and Regional) Self -Government and other regulations – according to the HDZ.

– Kristina Ikić Baniček, as a mayor, paid a salary according to the coefficient 9.22, and the law very clearly says that the coefficient must not exceed 6.42. The City Council today reduced the mayor’s coefficient from 9.22 to 6.42 – the HDZ states and points out that « Sta was with Mark Kričko, a former deputy mayor who had a coefficient 7.83.

The HDZ believes that the new mayor will have such a lower salary than former Mayor Kristina Ikic Banicek.

– A statement sent by the City SDP, which led Sisak for 12 years and to which the citizens of Sisak said a lot and voted for distrust, re -deceived the public. It is clear that they are very loud in public appearances because they want to overpower the truth about the heavy affairs that are now revealed in the city administration and the connected system of AU, which was personally attended by former Mayor Kristina Ikić Baniček and her then deputy Marko Kricka.

By the way, the former mayor was leading the city volunteer, and the salary she received was a mandate in Parliament. It was € 4518.59 net, or € 6749.80 gross.
