Some people like to view retro exhibitions or museums. Me too. Fantastic exposure You can see in Prague – and also in the TV series Promise. This is not an attempt to review the work, but the temptation to recommend viewing interiors when the sound is off is relatively strong. If the architect was as fuser as a person responsible for dialogues, he would stuff the rooms, for example, by IKEY. This would be more precisely to use something from the 90s, more elements from the zero years and several pieces even newer.

In other words, there are whole replicas in the series, which would not have been able to see the living person at the expected time of the events – the mid -1980s. And there are too many of them.

They can be divided into two basic categories: 1. Current and 2. Contemporary and terrible. Of course, a requirement in the edge is not literary, « just » the ability to imitate real speech (which is usually non -writing).

Day ugly, day nice

I acknowledge that this is a matter of taste and it is difficult to blame people today using the « nice day » calculus, because no one who, although even thoughtlessly repeats it, does not mean it wrong. So I would like to just gently point out that for some individuals, overuse a nice day is suffering and they can do with the good old « good day », all happy that someone still greets (this phenomenon is also for mysterious reasons also retreating, especially in cottage communication). Such people can also be abused more sophisticated, for example, the term « nice day », which I suspect from coming from German, while « have a nice day » smells again English.

Sure, the language changes and it needs to be taken as a reality. However, if we want to imitate the eighty, we will not use a « nice day ». In short, there were no nice days at that time, but the series promises are teeming.

And thanks to the series, I understood that today parents are also able to tell children, « So go, have a nice day! » Fortunately, reality corresponds to the serial « honor of work » in formal intercourse, but in the informal days were to remain exclusively good, while older characters could calmly greet « (hands) kiss ».

I know I don’t give it. Or?

It is hard to say when the verb « give » to a small meaning shift and began to serve in the meaning of « managing ». The beginnings of many later perversions are always inconspicuous and if the phenomenon does not catch, no one can remember. I only remember some news when I heard them for the first time. The sentence « you will give it » to me confidently gave me exactly in 2014, I know exactly what opportunity it was, and the fact is that I « gave it ».

However, I do not quite « give » the idea that by 1984 the sentences should belong: I admire you how you give it all. I didn’t, but I convinced everyone how I could do it. Do you know what’s going on with people who don’t give it?
