Hasan Ruso will be commemorated at his grave – Cyprus Newspaper

Hasan Ruso, who has made significant contributions to the sports of the country, will be held on the 20th anniversary of his death tomorrow (Saturday, May 17) at the beginning of his grave at 10.30 in the morning.

Hasan Ruso, who served as the president of the Turkish Cypriot sports, referees, referees and Athletics Federation for many years, served to the Küçük Kaymaklı Turkish Sports Club where he was born and raised as an athlete for a long time. He played an important role with his brothers Hüseyin Ruso and Salih Ruso in winning this historical championship.

After leaving active football at the end of 1968, he started his football referee in 1971. Hasan Ruso, who continued his football arbitrator until 1982, served as president in the Turkish Cypriot Turkish Football Referees Union in 1977 – 1978 and as a member of the Board of Directors between 1978 and 1982. Since 1972, he served as a member of the Advisor and as a member of the Board of Directors since 1974. At the Federation of Athletics, he was president of 18 years and was among the “Sports Men who are the longest president in sports federations”.

Between 1982 and 1996, he served as the responsibility of the first school sports activities and Physical Education Inspectorate. He retired in 1996.
On May 17, 2005, he left us because of the relentless illness he was caught. After leaving us, the athletics Federation location in the school field in Nicosia, where he was working hard for his construction, was named as “Hasan Ruso Athletics Federation Lokali için for his services and efforts to Turkish Cypriot Football and Athletics.
