Hanna Moisander becomes the female leader of the future in 2025

– I work quite actively with the board work. It feels very important for me to lead the change and get more women and underrepresented groups on boards, she says.
You can summarize Hanna Moisander’s career as a mix of entrepreneur and board professional. Right now she is chairman of the fashion company Lager 157 and the organization Deb. There she is also co -founder. The company holds different training courses for board work. She sits on three other boards as well.
For many high -level leaders, long education at the university is the background. But Hanna Moisander started working immediately after high school in the birthplace of Borås. She notes that the horse interest provided a good foundation for leading.
– You were up at six in the morning and worked in the stable almost every weekend, she explains.
The leadership gained momentum for e-commerce company Nelly, which sells clothes.
– I did everything there. But above all, I was perhaps this informal leader and had to practice leadership on the floor, she says.

Are you restless?
– Yes. Absolutely. But also very curious. Had I worked with two nearby areas, I would not have learned as much. So there are also different phases, different industries and I think that is extra fun.
She also points out that it is close to the heart to work with good entrepreneurs.
– I almost only work with companies where the founder leads the company, explains Hanna Moisander.
According to the Second AP Fund’s women’s index for 2024, there were 36.5 percent women on the boards of the listed companies and 28.8 percent in the management. The question is how the gap should decrease?
-The goal must definitely be 50-50. Not 40-60. I think that is important, she says.
Working actively with the composition on boards, she believes, is a way to reach a more even distribution.
When DN interviews the female leader of the future, she fittingly holds a seminar on artificial intelligence. Which, to say the least, seems to be a big part of the future.
– I am very optimistic about what we can do with AI. There is a lot to take in, she notes.
At the same time, she points out that decision makers must get into the front seat on the issue.
What does the leader of the future do in 10 years?
– I hope to continue to sit on boards where I can influence the meetings. That I listen and am curious and learn something.
