Hamas puts pressure on to arrive at a file with new images of hostages

Hamas shared new images of two living Israeli hostages on Saturday. It concerns two men who were abducted during the Supernova festival on October 7, 2023. In the video, in which they call, among other things, a ceasefire, two men can be seen in a dark room. One of them is almost motionless under a blanket. The other holds an emotional argument against the continuation of the war. The images were made in captivity. It is not clear when the video was made: the images are undated.

One of the hostages would have injured himself and no longer able to eat or drink. « What do you say to your family? Why is this war going on? Time is going, » says the other hostage. His words are addressed to the Israeli Air Force that continues to carry out attacks.

With the text « only a cease-fire she brings back alive » the video ends. Hamas uses this type of propaganda pideos more often to increase the pressure on Israel. In Israel too, the criticism of the continued war increases, often not because of the suffering of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, but to get the remaining hostages at home.
