Halil Altintop is a new member of the FCA supervisory board and replaces Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker

Halil Altintop returns to FC Augsburg. The former football professional is now one of six members of the supervisory board of FC Augsburg 1907 GmbH & Co.KGAA. In this society, the professional company and the most important U-teams of the Bundesliga club have been spun off.

FCA President Markus Krapf is now on the Supervisory Board

The control committee is chosen every four years by the shareholders of the KGAA. There are two: the FCA e. V. and the main shareholder: Hofmann Investoren GmbH. As the main shareholder, the GmbH has the right to propose for the supervisory boards. However, some major changes were made in the shareholder contract in July 2024. Among other things in § 9 that regulates the supervisory board. Here the number of members was increased from four to six and for the first time stipulated that the FCA e. V. has the right to a seat on the Supervisory Board. According to our editorial team, FCA President Markus Krapf will take it.

Halil Altintop replaces Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker

Altintop replaces the 40-year-old Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker, who leaves at his own request. The former FCA interior defender has been heading the department for neurocented training in the DFB Academy for several years. The fact that Callsen-Bracker is no longer practicing his office as a supervisory board at the FCA will certainly be registered with the DFB. Callsen-Bracker played a total of 150 competitive games for the FCA from 2011 to 2019. In December 2019, the then FCA boss and investor Klaus Hofmann brought him to the supervisory board of the KGAA.

On September 17, 2015, he entered the History Book of the FCA with his lead goal at the very first European League game of FC Augsburg near Athletic Bilbao. Altintop still lives in Augsburg with his family.
