The Organization for Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League Gaza contact group meeting was held in Egypt.

Minister Fidan said in his address at the meeting:

Today, when we meet here, genocide, forced displacement and apartheid still continue. The Israeli air strikes on March 18 showed that Israel has a more comprehensive agenda. Preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid and the target of Syria and Lebanon territory are indications that Israel insists on this expansionist policy.

Minister Fidan, who said that peace is not possible without stopping Israel in the region ”, said:

Our primary goal should be to stop the destruction in Gaza and to provide a permanent ceasefire. The pressure on Israel needs to be increased. For emergency and permanent ceasefire, we should benefit from platforms like the UN. The Gaza plan of Egypt, supported by all OIC countries, offers a constructive framework. We must progress on the basis of this plan.
