Guys rage when girls rattes their deffed bodies

Twelve -week strict diet has transformed singer Olly Murs from Björnlik giant into ripped athlete with stomachs sharp enough to cut on. A dream body for many men who spend the evenings on the long pass at the gym and frantically scrolling among Tiktok’s man’s influx.

The problem is just the girls.

After the Tabloid Press noticed Mur’s transformation started a Vote If his body on X. The users were to indicate whether they were women or men and answer whether they prefer Olly Mur’s physics before or after losing weight.

The result may be unscientific, but is striking. Men love his washboard, while the women prefer his more hug -friendly Dad Bod. Something that has led to exactly the type of meltdown for which X is famous.

« Why do women lie about this? » Sighs an abandoned man in one of the milder comments.

For the male fitness sphere On the net it is not enough to be strong. The muscles should appear unobstructed by body fat, such as at a competing bodybuilder – or as a Brad Pitt in « Fight Club », only muscular (he is judged to be a little too flimsy). Something that can only be achieved by nitic counting its calorie intake, literally weighing each protein -axed chew on a small wave.

This has historically been a women’s job, although it is called to lose weight instead of deff.

There is an implicit agreement between straight guys that that dream body will lead to being attractive in the eyes of girls. But as so often (almost) no one has bothered to ask the girls, until that vote appeared on X.

And now we stand here with a crisis masculinity who wonders what happened. Big, strong men should be what women want.

The problem is what You put in the concept. Olly Murs with big muscles and a little extra hole looks like a guy who could defend you against beasts on a deserted island. After the diet he looks more like someone who will complain about the lack of quarry and then collapse with nutritional deficiency.

For as long as I can remember, women have tried to highlight how tough it is to constantly try to live up to hard beauty ideals. Instead of listening to the warnings, the fitness men have found their own difficult role models – unnecessarily.

The case of Murs should not be something to collapse, that is good news.
