GUR: The Kremlin launches a digital ruble to control the Russians
The General Intelligence Directorate reported « the next step of the criminal regime in Moscow, aimed at strengthening total control over its own population » – the introduction of a digital ruble.
Details: According to scouts, since the beginning of 2026, Russian state employees will begin to pay wages in « digital rubles ».

GUR expects that the aggressor state will fully control the circulation of the virtual ruble: it will monitor each operation, and the costs of digital rubles will be able to limit at the place of residence of the citizen or the type of goods.
Also, according to intelligence analysis, the Kremlin regime will be able to block citizens’ accounts without a court decision and automatically write off taxes and penalties.
The Russian edition « Medusa » writes that a digital ruble is a new form of Russian currency along with cash and non -cash rubles.
Each digital ruble in the Russian Federation is assigned a unique code (it is as a series and number in banknotes). Electronic money will be stored in electronic wallets opened on a specially designed central bank platform.
The Russians say that the digital ruble has many advantages. In particular, if the bank is bankive, a person will not lose his money. Also, the digital ruble is allegedly significantly reducing money transfers, less business commission and more.
