Greta Thunberg deported from Israel and on his way to France

Greta Thunberg and other activists were deported from Israel on Tuesday, the Israelite government said, a day after a ship where they followed, to Gaza, to have been apprehended by the local armed forces.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry shared a photo of Greta Thunberg on a plane, adding that the Swedish activist was on his way to France before heading to her country.

The young Swedish was one of three activists who accepted the deportation. Others refused and were arrested, and should be tried by Israel’s judicial authorities.

It should be noted that Greta Thunberg was one of 12 people aboard the ‘Madleen’, a ship carrying help for people in Gaza, devastated by war.

The sailboat was intercepted and seized by Israeli naval forces at dawn on Monday, about 200 kilometers from the coast of Gaza. The vessel was accompanied by the Navy of Israel to the Port of Ashdod.

The activists claim they were protesting against the ongoing war and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Israel states that the ship violates the naval blockade that are imposing Gaza.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry even said that the trip was a public relations coup, and on social networks referred to the ship as « the » selfies « of celebrities. »
