Greece and Italy on strike! Airline flights are interrupted

Greek air traffic controllers have planned a 24-hour strike called by the ADEDY Public Sector Federation on April 9. Adedy demands the return of vacation bonus salaries, increased salaries and measures to combat the housing crisis in Greece. « Unfortunately, control of air traffic in Greece is in a bad situation as we lack staff and problems with equipment that cause many delays in recent years and will cause a lot this year as well, » Greece’s Air Traffic Control Association told The Independent.
