25-year-old Ernests parked his silver Renault Trafic at ul. Marszałkowska, he took a screwdriver, tools and a camera with him. Then he went to the Presidential Hotel in the center of Warsaw. The man went inside and was hanging around the building for some time. And when there was a confusion, he took the opportunity and got to the place where the critical infrastructure was located and tried to open the door to the roof of the building. A moment later he was detained by protecting the object.

While stopping between protection and a citizen of Latvia, a struggle occurred. After incapacitated, the man began to explain that he wanted to go out on the roof only photos. The problem is that he tried to get there illegally through the zone secured with an electromagnetic castle. He had a camera in his backpack, but also a screwdriver and other tools that could help him in the crime. The police were called in. After a few minutes, police, ABW and pyrotechnics appeared. Marszałkowska was completely closed. Residents looked at what was happening in horror. « I thought it was a coup, » one of the passers -by told us. However, this is not the end of the whole story.

– The man heard the allegation of violation of home mirts, illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, and an attempt to break into the protected part of the building inscribed on the list of critical infrastructure. By decision of the court he was arrested for two months – informs Piotr Skiba from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. The prosecutor praised the actions of downtown officers.
