Great Gymnastics Feast in YDU – Cyprus Newspaper

The 2nd Near East University Gymnastics Feast hosted by Near East University, RA 25 Sports Hall almost turned into a visual feast.

The giant organization organized jointly by the Near East University and Erbulut Gymnastics Club hosted 14 clubs from Türkiye and the TRNC and over 300 talented athletes.

In addition to 9 clubs coming from Türkiye, the giant organization, which took place with the participation of 5 clubs from our country, gave unforgettable moments to gymnastics lovers.

While the athletes struggled in the competitions, 8 referees from Türkiye, 2 international and 3 nationals with a total of 8 referees from Cyprus with fair and meticulous evaluations improved the quality of the tournament.

Erbulut drew attention to the size of the organization

Erbulut Gymnastics Club Chief Coach Mustafa Erbbulut, one of the architects of this historic meeting, pointed out the size of the organization and said, ız We are grateful to the Near East Bank’s Board of Directors, Mr. Enver Haskasap, who mobilized all kinds of opportunities, which is our biggest supporter in realizing such a comprehensive and magnificent activity. The tournament is already considered a turning point in the history of TRNC Gymnastics with its number of participants and organizational success.

This historical meeting created an important platform for young talents to show themselves. The tournament, which reached the summit with the contributions of the Near East University, which undertakes the main sponsorship of the tournament, took the task of bringing together the talents of young athletes and bringing together the Turkish and TRNC Gymnastics community.
