Great Britain. A mother with three children died in a fire in London
Two other members of the same injured family, a 70-year-old woman and a teenage girl, were taken to hospital for treatment. Emergency services were informed in the middle of the night by neighbors who saw that the apartment was on fire. As the British media say, they first saw flames coming out of the building, and then heard « small explosions ». After extinguishing the fire, the rescuers found in the ruins of the body of women and three and her children. According to « Daily Mail », the neighbors described them as a « nice family », and one of them said that the woman was expecting another child.

The neighbors said « Daily Mail » that one of the men was stopped when he wanted to return to the burning building to save his family. A girl leaving the house was seen, coughing and covered with soot before she was placed on a stretcher. One of the neighbors who did not want to give his name, said: « Next to the Somali family lived. They came out through the back door because the front was blocked. »

Before the burning building, a barefoot man was seen without a shirt, dressed in shorts and covered with soot. A woman gave him some clothes and stayed with him for about 30 minutes, and then he was taken by the police.

Superintendent Steve Allen from the local police team in North West London admitted to the British media that one man was detained. – We remain at an early stage of our investigation, but one man was arrested in front of the house. He remains in custody and is questioned by officers.
