Grandma took a three -meter state and ‘stabbed’ an octopus: ‘There was a shark nearby, he didn’t give up’

– I walked the waterfront and otherwise I look at the sea. I saw Prča and says my grandmother goes to the osti. The shark comes at that moment. I took my cellphone and recorded everything – Marac tells us under the impression of an evening walk.

He says, he knew that the octopus, which was hiding at the bottom, was big, but the real size surprised him. He was even more surprised by his older fellow citizen who immediately caught her.

According to the recording, she managed to get her on the waterfront. He helped her preserve her so that she would not return to the sea.

Zeljko revealed to us that the octopus eventually ended up with the lady. And deserved it.

After everything was over, they withdrew, the shark returned to the scene again. As the locals who live on the waterfront tells us, he swam along the coast for a long time.

– He was pretty calm, but it was strange to see the shark so close. I recorded it from the window and then on the waterfront. He caused a lot of attention, because the children gathered and followed him as he was close – the local tells us.

Otherwise, we shared the video with a shark expert at the University of Split Professor in Split Allen Soldto help reveal what kind it was. Unfortunately, it was shot too far and there is no enough detail except the fins.

– Video is of poor quality for any more serious and accurate identification, but from the available material, given the shape of the back fins and the way of moving can be assumed that it is a shark species. To say what kind of species it is, it would be a mere guess, which is definitely not a scientific approach, because for a more accurate identification we need better information – says Soldo.

He adds that it is possible to see a shark in this position.

– It is not uncommon for some types of sharks, for example Modruljiin the search for food they find urbanized bays, so this case is nothing but a situation that can happen every year throughout the Adriatic coast, especially at this time of year – says Soldo.

Recall, although the video has made a lot of attention and public interest, fishermen warn that every catch still needs a permit. She is still free for retirees.
