Government: Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health at Bitola University will be established

The Government today adopted information on the need to establish the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health at the University « Ss. Kliment Ohridski »-Bitola.

The government’s press service states that the establishment of the Faculty « is a strategic necessity for the promotion of health education, especially in the Pelagonia and Southwest region of the Republic of Northern Macedonia » and that it will « have the task of being a legal successor to the Higher Medical School, where in addition to three years of study, four-year studies can be accredited.

The Ministry of Education and Science has proposed the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health at UKLO Bitola to start work from the study 2026/2027, and in the meantime to complete all procedures in accordance with the Law on Higher Education.
