Government decided: This strike of the Enlightenment will not be paid
The government today made a decision to continue applying a decision to reduce salary and salary to pay employees in the primary and secondary education system and science and higher education while participating in the strike.
The leaders of the three school unions said earlier that they were expecting a good response to the strike in Dalmatia, and accused the Government of going to ‘Djon on them’, which is why they decided to embark on circular strikes at the Croatian regions.
The circular strike will be carried out on Tuesday in primary and secondary schools, colleges and institutes in Dalmatia, ie in Split-Dalmatia, Zadar, Šibenik-Knin and Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
Željko Stipić from the Školsk OG union and the rebirth recalled the warning strike about ten days ago, to which the power was « still relentless ». He said they were ready for a marathon, no matter how long it took, so with regional strikes tomorrow day.
« This is not my first strike, but I have to admit that this never happened. There were various ministers, but what the current minister offered, the so -called Fuksica, his predecessors did not dare, » Stipic said, explaining that the strikes were going to Dalmatia because he was the best response from the strike.
Matija Kroflin of the Independent Union and Sciences and Higher Education claimed that union people did not want to obstruct the educational process, but the government rejected dialogue after trying to reconcile and sent a message that they were not important to it.
« They have crushed the dignity and social position of employees in education and higher education. We expect a better response tomorrow than on a warning strike, we have such indications, » Kroflin said.
The President of the Independent Union of the Croatian Secondary Schools, Zrinko Turalija, said that « he will push the whole story to the end, however she is done, and if he does not finish the authorities immediately, he must know that they will continue to be dissatisfied. »
Dalmatian counties will be joined Thursday by Vukovar-Srijem, Brod-Posavina, Virovitica-Podravina County, Osijek-Baranja and Požega-Slavonia, while on Monday, April 7, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar, Lika-Senj and Istrian County will strike.
Two days afterwards, the strike will be on the Koprivnica-Križevci, Međimurje and Varaždin counties, and on April 11 in Bjelovar-Bilogora, Krapina-Zagorje, Sisak-Moslavina, Zagreb and Karlovac County, as well as in Zagreb.
