Goran Ivanisevic again in court with former Tatjana Dragovic: asks her to return millions to him
Former best Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanisevic and his ex -wife Tatjana Dragovic Again, they found themselves face to face, but this time in court. Today they have appeared at the Zagreb Municipal Civil Court, where they were supposed to witness each other for a private lawsuit that has been dragging on for two and a half years, writes Morning.
Goran asks Tatjana no less than 2,477,962 euros, claiming that he has lent her money for years, a total of 2.9 million euros, allegedly paid from a mutual account in Monte Carlo and from his personal account in Zagreb. According to him, she should have returned everything to him by the end of 2021, but she was late and now wants her money back, plus interest.
But today’s hearing turned into a real circus. Although they both had to testify, it did not happen because Goran suddenly announced that he had to leave. His lawyer, Mato Jelic, said his client « must leave the courtroom at 10.30 » (the hearing, otherwise, began at 9am), and the reason was his father’s surgery. The judge directly asked him why the court had not been informed earlier about this, to which lawyer Jelic said they tried to arrange a delay with Tatiana’s side, but failed. However, Tatjana Dragovic, Sanja Artukovic and Ivo Farcic, lawyers, immediately denied this, claiming that such an agreement was never offered.
Thus, the hearing was re -delayed until mid -July.
There was no missing emotion in the courtroom. While Tatiana stood with her head raised and looked at her ex -partner straight in the eye, Goran looked down, staring at the table, his cellphone, his hands … The Tatjans at one point flowed and tears when she realized that her legal nightmare would continue to last – both because of this dispute and the temporary measures Morning.
And things are even more intricate. In response to the lawsuit, Dragovic claims that it is not a loan but a common money. He accuses his ex -husband of trying to avoid taxes, and also delivered a correspondent from Whatsapp of March 2021, in which, according to Ivanisevic’s claims, he « demanded that he transfer money to him and that these messages were a proof of the modus operandia of how he transferred money from a joint account to his account, obviously avoiding tax liabilities. » But Tatiana claims that « it is not evident from the messages that it was a loan of money to her, » but that it was a common money.
He also states that messages from May and September 2020 are clear evidence that it was common means, and that Goran « replied to the tax of taxes to transfer from a joint account to her own account in Croatia and then to his account in Croatia. »
