The certificate was received by companies that, in the context of the public tender, showed their support for Slovenian sport, both by spreading the importance of sports among employees and financial support for sports at local and national levels. The basic certificate awarded by the Olympic Committee of Slovenia this year for the first time, and in the next two years, companies can be upgraded to an advanced certificate, received: Atlantic Droga Kolinska, BTC, Comark, Elan, Gen Energy, Gen-I, Hidria, Hit Nova Gorica, Lottery of Slovenia, Marles House Maribor, Mlinotest Logis, Petrol, RLS, Sava Tourism and Sports Lottery.

Through the awarding of a « sport -friendly company » certificate, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia is to promote companies to promote sports and sports activities between employees and to invest in Slovenian sport. Sports activity has a positive effect on mental health and physical fitness and is a counterweight to the use of digital technologies. With the support of Slovenian sports and athletes, both in the local environment and at national level, companies provide conditions for further development of sports and achieving top results.

“With a sports certificate, a friendly company wants to encourage companies or companies. Organizations to spread values ​​and the importance of sports as a healthy lifestyle, as well as investing in Slovenian sport. This year we have awarded the certificate for the first time, we will already publish a new call in the fall, inviting companies that support and promote sports between employees and outside their organization to apply. Companies that have received the certificate, among other things, encourage employees to engage in sports, sports activities are part of the culture and mindset of the company, intentionally promote the topics of healthy lifestyles among employees, perform short workouts for employees at work, allow employees to coordinate working and private time, employees in sports participate as volunteers or employees.
