Good practices in healthcare
With all the problems in our healthcare, we have already come to us to criticize everything related to healthcare. It is very difficult for us to praise. Personally, I think this is very unjust to many in this activity that are true to their mission. I may be particularly fortunate to have a personal physician in the Medvode ZD, who, as a young doctor, can really be a role model to his resident colleagues.
His care for the patient is almost amazing in these times. It reminds me of childhood when our family doctor came home as needed. He knew the whole family, possible hereditary diseases and more. He was trusted and he became almost our family friend. At least in my experience, the Medvode ZD can also be a perfect example of good practice. Friendly staff and carry out reviews without unnecessary waiting.
Recently, I was forced to perform surgery in SB Jesenice and I was able to make sure that, with all the problems of our health care, there are still hospitals who deserve a great assessment. I have heard quite a few positive reviews about the staff at SB Jesenice before, but I was still surprised.
It would be criminal if I mentioned individually the names of the hospital staff, since I did not even remember many, but it is really people in the true sense of the word. Thanks to all the doctors, nurses and other staff of SB Jesenice for being ready to do your job in pride in your profession. I have no doubt that the entire leadership of the hospital, with the director at the helm, is also credited.
When a person experiences such a positive experience in such a very criticized activity, he wonders how it is possible that each authorities are not able to finally provide those who committed their honorable profession, including appropriate payments. Of course, I do not think of the unethical demands of Fides and not those who go to hospitals just record. I have been walking around the world for a long time, and I also have such negative experiences in stock. Therefore, thank you to everyone in SB Jesenice, and the authorities: make sure that the staff in healthcare institutions who are honorably performing their mission will be paid the way he deserves.
