It is more often about the deeply violent experiences that the parties involved in captivity. Despite the difficult topic, there are also humorous moments in the film.

The award ceremony of the 78th Film Festival took place as planned after there was a larger power failure in Cannes on Saturday.

The Berliner Mascha Schilinski won for her drama « look into the sun », in which the Viennese actress Susanne Wuest also plays, the prize of the jury, which she shares with Oliver Laxe for his film « Sirât ».

The major price of the jury, the second most important award of the festival, went to « Sentimental Value » from Joachim Trier.

Kleber Mendonça Filho received the prize for the best director for « O Secreto Agente ». BI GAN received a special prize for the jury for « Resurrection ». The price was the best actress Nadia Melliti for her role in « La Petite Dernière ».
