Goes over the 44 -year career on the crowds in a good friend group

John does not need to be introduced because he is like our friend after almost half a century in the spotlight. Throughout a 44 -year career, Jóhann has played numerous roles, both at the Reykjavík Theater Company and in the National Theater, as well as playing film and television. He has often sung in the theaters, musicals and the opera. He studied both drama and singing in the 1980s and here at home he learned singing in the new music school under the guidance of Sigurður Demetz Fransson and Kristins Sigmundsson. Then he stayed for a whole year in Italy and studied singing.
« Kopavogur’s male choir is a natural 70 -person band that sings under the direction of Sigurður Helga choirmaster and so will be with my colleagues over the years, » says Jóhann.

A varied agenda
Jóhann says he intends to jump on the big career, but many well -known songs will be sung on Wednesday night in the City Theater.
« I sing songs from the little ones, from the violin on the roof, from Showboat, Jesus Christ Superstar, King of the Lions, Aladdin and the Circle of Notre Dame. Eruptionbut it was a hugely popular song. «
