I don't know some what to do only -they will come out in front. It seems that the frequent statements of the rector SNSPA, Remus Procopie, are not sufficient, on different aspects of Romanian political life.
Now, the Senate of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA) has decided to initiate the procedures for the nomination of Donald Trump, the president of the United States, for the Nobel Peace Prize.
In Remus's mind Pricopie: « A victory for the rule of law »
In this context, the rector SNSPA, prof. Dr. Remus Pricopie, said:
« This decision comes as a recognition of the sustained efforts of President Donald Trump in promoting peace and stability in regions marked by global tensions. The diplomatic initiatives that were the basis of this nomination include his actions to relax the situation in Gaza, innovative steps to conclude a fair peace in Ukraine, as well as the permanent concern to maintain the balance between the main geopolitical actors, worldwide.
As a higher education institution with a strong commitment to democratic values and international law, SNSPA considers essential to support leaders contributing to global peace.
We recognize the role of President Donald Trump in facilitating diplomatic solutions to cease the conflict in Ukraine, respecting the sovereignty of the states and in accordance with the Euro-Atlantic values. In particular, ensuring peace in the Black Sea region, by guaranteeing the sovereignty of Ukraine and the security of states in the proximity of the conflict, in accordance with the fundamental principles of international law, is an essential objective for global stability. It is also the obligation of SNSPA, as a school of government of Romania, to recognize and support the initiatives that promote peace and dialogue, highlighting the significant contributions in this regard. Donald Trump is an atypical politician, who comes out of all classic patterns, but is oriented towards reaching the final goal. As this objective is peace, which translates into security, respect between nations and prosperity of citizens, then this effort must be recognized and supported globally. The appreciation of a strong voice advocating for peace, like Donald Trump's, is fundamental.
SNSPA will invite other universities, national and international partners, to join this initiative.
Through the expertise of his teaching staff, researchers and graduates, SNSPA has been constantly involved in projects meant to strengthen Euro-Atlantic relations, promote democratic values and support NATO and EU Member States in their efforts to ensure international cohesion and resilience.
The University reaffirms its commitment to support the initiatives that contribute to combating threats to security, stability and peace, the more important role at a time when social tensions, of any kind, are based on extremism, ideological, economic, ethnic, xenophobic conflicts or hybrid attacks from some state-state entities.
