Give us the vote to realize the centuries -old dream of Albanians, EU integration

Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the same time chairman of the Socialist Party, demanded today the votes of Albanians abroad for the SP, while assuring them that their votes need to run together to finally realize the centuries-old dream of Albanians to be part of the European Union.

In a meeting with Albanians in Athens, Greece, in the framework of the Diaspora meetings tour, Rama assured that after the elections he will return to a tour of thanks to say that « your votes do not want to take four years in the chair ».

« Not only will it come after the elections but after the elections I give you the word that we will come to make a great holiday of thanks to all of you and come to tell you that we do not want your votes to take four years in the chair, but with your votes we want to run together to finally realize the centuries -old Albanian dream of being part of Europe.

The prime minister noted that many Albanians here are now wondering whether to return to Albania or not.

« I am very glad that some of the friends who accompany me showed me that nowadays making meetings in Athens have encountered something that is more or less in common to the Athens Albanians. They have all started to ask themselves whether to return or not. Whether the question of whether you should return is a very encouraging indicator. Today we are just a staircase near them, ”Rama said.

The prime minister assured that we are here together to climb the last degree and to become one here with these and all other Europeans in EU countries, becoming part of the same family and lowering the united European family as equals. «
