« Giro D’Italia 2025 », here are the roads that will be blocked in Elbasan District

As part of the international cycling competition « Giro D’Italia 2025 », which will take place on May 9, 2025, in Elbasan, the Elbasan Police Directorate has taken a number of measures to guarantee public order and security, as well as the smooth running of this sporting activity.

The measures to be implemented in the territory of Elbasan District are:

Temporary blockage of traffic on the road axis: « Karina – Peqin – Bradashesh – Tastes – Grace », during 11:30 – 15:30.

Prohibition of traffic and stopping this axis from the secondary roads along the race segment.

Failure to move trucks coming from Qafe Thana during the activity schedule.

Alternative route to the south:

For vehicles traveling from Qafe Thana, Librazhdi and Elbasan, southward, are directed to use the alternative road axis “Elbasan-Cerrik-Cerrik-Belsh-Kucova”

These measures are intended to guarantee road safety, race well and minimize the impact on the movement of citizens and vehicles.

Elbasan Police Directorate thanks to the drivers and citizens for understanding during this cycling activity, as well as appealing and seeking the understanding of citizens to avoid traffic on road axes that are part of the route, in activity development schedules and use alternative roads.
