The investigation believes that in 2016–2021, Major General Ogloblin received a bribe totaling 12 million rubles from representatives of the Perm telephone factory of TETTA. This money was intended for Major General not for specific services, but « for general protection in the execution of a contract for the supply of military communications in the amount of more than 1.2 billion rubles. »
Lawyer Maxim Dovgan told Kommersant that his client Ogloblin recognizes the fact of receiving money, but did not agree with the qualifications of his actions. He did not explain the position of the client, noting that he promised to do this himself during the court hearings.
