Gaza: worse and hell on earth, says the Red Cross – What UNICEF says
International aid organizations continue to sound the alarm for Gaza, where Israel continues its deadly attacks, while hunger is testing the whole population of the Palestinian Palestinian enclave.
‘International humanitarian law is a blank letter’
It is worth noting that the controversial and supported by the United States and the Israeli Humanitarian Foundation of Gaza (GHF) suspended the distribution of aid for today in the Palestinian enclave, one day after the Israeli forces opened at least 27 by the Gh.
The Chairman of the International Committee of the Red Cross (DES), Miriana Spoliaric told the Bbc That the situation in Gaza is worse than « hell on earth ».
« Humanity fails. States do not do enough to end the war, stop the Palestinian plagues and release the Israeli hostages, « he said.
« The Palestinians have been deprived of human dignity. International humanitarian law is a blank letter, « he added.
« What happens in Gaza goes beyond any acceptable legal, moral and human model, » Spoliaric stressed.
The PSC is an international organization active in war zones. It has about 130 staff in Gaza, most of whom are Palestinians.
According to the BBC, her hospital in Rafa, southern Gaza, where surgery is being performed, is the nearest medical facility in the area where many Palestinians have been killed during aid distributions in recent days near GHF. Palestinians complain that aid distribution centers have become « death traps ».

The PCE reports that yesterday morning Rafa’s surgical teams received 184 patients, including 19 people who died on arrival and eight who died of their injuries shortly afterwards.

UNICEF: « 600 packages instead of 600 trucks » with humanitarian aid
A UNICEF spokesman in the lane criticized the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), saying that the US and Israel -supported organization gives « pre -emptive help ».
Speaking about GHF’s decision to interrupt today’s activity, James Elder told the BBC Radio 4 Today show that he did not know it until early this morning.
Describing the situation in Gaza yesterday, he said people were walking 15-20 kilometers to get help.
« There are teens with tears in their eyes next to the window of the car showing me their sides, » he described.
He said that beyond the pause, there is a broader issue on how to distribute help in Gaza.
« They claim that the help they give people is not sufficient. We’re talking about a handful of distribution spaces for 400 during the ceasefire, « he explained.
He added that credible organizations are still preventing from distributing help to the enclave.
« This is what is really missing, big organizations that should deliver 500-600 trucks a day. Instead, we are talking about 500-600 packages that go to citizens a day, « Elder said.
The situation for civilians in Gaza is tragic.
