Gashi – Ulman: With Switzerland we are continuously promoting bilateral cooperation
Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Macedonia, Veronik Ulman, who, according to his cabinet, it was emphasized that with Switzerland we are continuously promoting bilateral cooperation, building friendly bilateral relations and mutually.
Gashi, the statement said, referred to the continued cooperation and support of the Swiss Embassy and the Parliament through the Assembly Support Program, as part of today’s Parliament’s Digital Transformation Conference, as well as projects planned in the Strategic Plan of Parliament. In addition, the President introduced Ambassador Ulman to the ongoing activities of the Assembly.
Ulman underlined that the conference « Transforming the Future: Digital Contemporary Parliament » confirms that the Assembly is ready to deal with the challenges in the advanced digital era. He emphasized that many years have been achieved over the years, but that it is important to mark the benchmarks with appropriate events like today. She reiterated the permanent and continuous support of the Swiss Confederation for Macedonia at the multilateral level.
The interlocutors agreed that the excellent relations are a solid foundation for further deepening of co -operation between the two countries at all levels, with a particular emphasis on parliamentary diplomacy.
