Gashi: The parliamentary majority is stable regardless of the turmoil in worth
The parliamentary majority is stable whether anyone goes out or enters the turmoil in the coalition – said Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi.
In an interview with Radio Free Europe, he says parliamentary elections should be held on a regular basis, and that the new law on equitable representation is expected by the end of the month.
« I think there is no need for panic, the majority is stable, I think that it should continue to work on whether anyone enters, it will come out. I mean, there will be no major change in the number of MPs. The majority is very stable, we already have about two -thirds. On the other hand, local elections are approaching, but I think we should not always catch electoral fever and adrenaline that we have to make elections for everything. We must understand the local elections by nature, what they are in essence. Sewage, water supply, cleaner roads, lighting, and I think we should not insert high policy into the local elections, in the following elections, these regulars. So I wouldn’t put them in the same parallel, what is a parliamentary majority, I think it should continue by the end of the term, to give the political stability to the citizens, that the Parliament, the Government, are working. Local elections is another topic – said Gashi.
