Galushchenko: We have a joint interest with the United States to return the ZPP under Ukrainian control

Energy Minister of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko stated that the United States and Ukraine have a common interest in regaining the Zaporozhye NPP under the control of Ukraine and starting its operation for the implementation of joint energy projects.

Details: In the course of the discussion, Galushchenko noted that special concern for nuclear security creates massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

This also applies to the current Zaporizhzhya NPP and three more stations that continue their work in Ukraine.

Since August last year, more than 150 incidents have been recorded when Russian missiles or drones have been flying over or near these stations.
