Full gas for two billion

The wait has been a test of patience of the rare, but on Monday the Kløfta project was knocked through by a unified Storting. NOK 2 billion will be spent in the years to come to give road users a new everyday life. The bottleneck and dangerous areas are replaced by tunnels and a safe entrance on the E45.

Of course, there is no surprise, all the time the ministers appeared in Kløfta last fall and the first 50 million were allocated on the state budget. Furthermore, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration could present a quality -assured project, which has now been upgraded to the disposal of more than NOK 2 billion.

At the moment the project paved its way from the National Transport Plan (NTP) to the budget, most people are confident that things are going the right way, but we noticed that many expressed that they would see the construction machines in place before releasing the cheer.

We insist that the road ahead through Eiby and in fact right up to Øvre Alta had needed the same care, quickly. We see that there are plans for smaller measures, but we believe it would have been sensible to think whole in an area where heavy traffic roars over the E45.

Finnmark has been eaten with small money for transport projects in recent years, so there is no reason why we in Finnmark will put projects against each other. The road network hangs in hop, that we should be able to enjoy the fact that several parcels are being completed at E94 towards hospitals, neighboring town and oil province.

It is important that there is also a plan to fix old bridges, which must either be maintained after replaced. It is infrastructure that is of great importance. When the Badder Bru knelt, it naturally had consequences for many more than those in Troms, just as better flow over Kvænangsfjellet means a lot to the whole in the north.
