From today the registrations in kindergartens and kindergartens in Tirana begin, the procedures to be followed

From this Monday, June 2, the Municipality of Tirana officially opens the process of registration of children in the city’s kindergartens and kindergartens, as well as their transition from kindergarten to kindergarten. Application will only be carried out online, through the dedicated platform: e-fellow.tirana.al
Parents will have a 20-day deadline to complete the application, which will close on June 22. The first step the parent has to make is that of registration on this platform. So, a personal account with the basic data of the parent himself such as the name, surname, phone number and email address.

Once they have entered the system, parents will face 4 options: nursery registration, garden registration, kindergarten transfer to garden or transfers from one nursery to another or from garden to another.
To register for the first time the child in the nursery, select the « Record in the Nursery » option on the platform’s main page. Following, parents select the administrative unit where they live and then the kindergarten or kindergarten in the unit they prefer for their child. Identical procedure is also followed for registration in gardens. All kindergartens and gardens in the area where parents live can be found on the platform through a dedicated map.
Documents required for the registration of children in kindergartens and kindergartens include: personal and family certificate of the child, certifying parents’ work, which should also be reflected monthly salary and certifying social security contributions, which can be provided through the e-Albania portal. It is also necessary to submit a child vaccination certification.
Children passing through the kindergarten in the garden, personal and family certificates are required, as well as a residential certificate that proves that the family is near the institution. In cases where the child’s transfer from one nursery to another is required, it is also necessary to submit a document that justifies the reasons for the movement.
Children belonging to the specific or vulnerable categories, additional documents are required to certify their specific status.

Since 2015, the Municipality of Tirana has invested in the construction and reconstruction of nurseries and gardens with European standards. These investments have brought about a significant improvement in the quality of services and conditions for children and educators.
Improving conditions in kindergartens and kindergartens by the Municipality of Tirana has significantly increased parents’ demands for the attendance of public preschool institutions.
