From the slope to Klan’c Pogacar will hunt 1189 challengers on the road to Krvavec
The first cyclist of the world Tadej Pogacar It intends to conclude the competition season in racing style. Twenty -six -year -old World Road Champion, winner of the Italy race and three -time winner of the French race 12 in October prepares an event from a slope in Klan’c. At that time, together with 1189 participants, he will climb his favorite slope – Krvavec.
As noted on the website of Pogichallenge.com, this is a sports and social event that will start in Komenda and will lead all the way to the destination at Krvavec. The number of places on this challenge – 1189 – is not random: just as many altitudes are the ascent from Pogacar’s home village Klanec near Komenda to the Summit.
The challenge will have a tailored competitive note. The first part – about nine kilometers – will be a group start from Komenda, where cyclists will drive in the company of Pogacar. At the Krvavec junction, the second competition will begin: Pogacar will be behind for a moment and leave all 1189 riders forward. He will then go hunting himself.
