Born and raised in Telšiai, from a very young age, all his peers grew up in Copeland in his childhood and adolescence, he encountered brutal bullying and saw his daily routine in the colorful darkest colors: « From kindergarten, I was all called giraffe, throwing garbage, even kicking me, » Copeland.
At the school, Mr Copeland suffered psychological and physical violence of classmates at home. And when it seemed like nothing could be worse in life, Copeland’s world was shaken by the news of his father’s suicide. It was this tragic event, the bullying of the school and the constant sense of insecurity encouraged it to leave Lithuania and seek her happiness in the city in New York.

As soon as he settled in the United States, the impressive -looking girl was immediately noticed by the fashion world and successfully climbed the model career ladder – working with the most famous fashion houses, even filming a music clip with a pop goddess Britney Spears. After a while, after feeling that he wanted more from life, Copeland entered the New York Institute of Fashion Technology and began to fall for shoe design sciences. The young creator, who finished them, took up the duties of footwear designer, tried his hand at making accessories, and soon immersed himself in a whole new charitable area, which led it to Haiti, who was famous for his shocking crimes.
A. Copeland about visiting the world’s most dangerous area:
For the first time, Copeland and Raminta went to the poverty-placing state in 2014 to seek cooperation opportunities, but the creepy reality of the local orphanage immediately saw the philanthropic activity-education through the arts. The locals adopted the idea of the visual arts program to implement the idea of the Haiti orphanage, so Copeland began to teach Haiti’s disadvantaged children. International media has repeatedly written about the fate of the unenviable locals, flickering stories about brutal crimes – the sale of slaves to local families, rape, as well as inhuman experiments. Copeland testified with his own eyes, visiting the Haiti Children’s Rehabilitation Center: « We enter one room and the nurse says, » This girl is raised like a puppy since childhood. She walks four on her hands and knees. We enter and that girl actually kneeling at four on the ground. Can you imagine such a thing? ” – the horrendous memories were shared by the philanthropist.

The constant danger in Haiti is not only at risk for children. Everyone is insecure. For almost a decade, Copeland, who has been flying there for a decade, has avoided potential abduction several times just several times through her hair. The last time it happened in 2021, when she went to Haiti immediately the world’s knowledge of the cold-blooded murder of the country’s president and the earthquake that had been in more than a thousand lives.
