Spring in Ljubljana is expected in the embrace of culture. Luv Fest, the Festival of Love of Art and Vandranja, brings to the streets and markets an art gallery of outdoors, and into cultural temples and creative spaces, endless artistic, music and dance experiences, creative workshops and guidance on the subject of love. In March, a popular culinary market returns to Pogacar's Square, where every Friday by the end of October we can enjoy the flavors of Slovenian and world cuisine. With the youngest, we can jump to the Bobri Cultural and Art Education Festival and, by the beginning of April, catch the Biennial of Design Exhibition at the Museum of Architecture and Design. May evenings are for light guerrilla when light art objects of all kinds come to life!

Summer brings a real festival fever. The June Festival in Ljubljana is enriched by the days with a free viewing of the performances for the youngest, and evenings with top art events. Then the Ljubljana festival is taken over by the Ljubljana Festival with concerts and performances by world -renowned artists and a film under the stars at Ljubljana Castle. The more intimate musical experiences are provided by the summer in Tivoli in Plečnik's auditorium in the middle of the city forest and the summer in Šiška in front of Kino Šiška. At the Brina cocktail and myxology festival in dance rhythms, we get to know the innovative flavors of alcoholic and increasingly trendy non -alcoholic blends. Even without sports, it is not going. In the summer, we run with the cycling marathon Franjo and Barjanka, the cycling experience on the macadam roads of the mysterious Ljubljana Marshes. It is worth visiting the Morostig House and the reconstruction of the pile residential settlement on the Bar, and in Visnja Gora an experiential house of the Carniolan bee, where you can sleep in a bee hive. In the fall Green Ljubljana disguises into charming yellow-red tones, the sun's rays are becoming gentler, but the city is by no means resting. In September, it is especially lively in the cultural quarters, when the whole of Šiškarija and Moste Open combine local creators, residents and other curious people in a varied cultural event on the streets and squares of neighborhoods. In October Ljubljana Street is occupied by runners who are hunting for records at the Ljubljana Marathon. Be among them! In November, we watch top films at the Ljubljana Film Festival and enjoy the abundance of gourmet surpluses at the November Gourmet Ljubljana Culinary Festival. But artistic highlights? At the Cukrarna Gallery, the artistic tandem Ulay and the world -renowned multimedia artist Marina Abramović are presented!

In the winter Ljubljana streets and squares again become one large venue. More than 50 kilometers of holiday lights, space bodies and geometric characters create an unforgettable holiday scenery with a unique story. The rich festive events are enriched by fairs, children's creative workshops, street theaters and numerous outdoor concerts for all musical tastes. Shortly after we extinguish the holiday lights, Ljubljana is occupied by a couch festival that takes place in kitchens and living rooms, offices, cellars and other unusual spaces. In February, with Luv Fest, the International Ment Festival with new musical discoveries from all over Europe.
