From Batin to Sound Top: Chronology of Violence against Rebel Students and Citizens – Society

Physical attacks on students and citizens began at the very beginning – more precisely 22. November, when the FDU students were attacked at the art boulevard during their « pause, » where to block the mentioned boulevard on that occasion.

A larger group of people who physically attacked the students appeared during the blockade, violating them several.

Due to this event, the FDU students blocked the Faculty, and then the blockades expanded to all state universities, which they last for today.

Although VJT launched criminal proceedings against five persons in Belgrade, students still believe that their request is not fulfilled.

Who has been processed so far for the attack on FDU students?

VJT in Belgrade, it seems, only after the pressure of students and the public, initiated proceedings against the attacker.

Five people have been identified, including some public officials and members of the SNS, such as Milija Koldžić and Aleksandar Jokić. In addition to them, Ivan Stanisic, Milena Aleksic and Dušan Kostić were identified.

Of these five, VJT filed an indictment for three people, Milena Aleksic, and are charged for violent behavior at the public meeting, while the Prosecution estimated that they did not exceed any criminal offense, but misdemeanors.

Koldzic denied guilty, but after pressing the public he resigned in place of a member of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of New Belgrade.

Stanisic agreed with the Prosecution on guilty. And he was sentenced to eight months to parole and a fine, and for now is the only one convicted of attacking the students of the FDU.

What it should be pointed out, and why students believe that their request is not met, is that more than five people see, but the Prosecution has not identified these attackers until today.

Also, the doubts are justified that this incident did not come spontaneously, but this group was acted as if sent to make an incident. The prosecution, however, did not launch an investigation into possible clients and incentives.

After this attack, many others followed, which almost everyone looked stencil.

Whenever the citizens gathered at a larger intersection to give their postal deaths in the fallen of canopies, a certain group of people would always appear, physically attacked or tried to break the blockages.

After this incident, two most serious ones have happened so far when it comes to attacks on students and citizens that are protesting.

In a space of eight days, when blockade roads, two female students were run over by car.

It’s first 16. January in Belgrade a ragged student Faculty of Law in Belgrade, Sonja Ponjević from Kraljevo.

Eight days later, another student was moved at the intersection block in New Belgrade. She ran the MS (25) by car. MS was arrested on site and it was also detained with the same accusation as well as for driver MP – a serious murder in an attempt.
