From « Ballo » to Klavdia, Savvopoulos joined seasons and voices on the stage of Rockwave
Dionysis Savvopoulos did not go up on stage at Terra Vibe on stage at Cuff. He uploaded with him half a century of musical history, experience and memory.
On the night of Saturday, June 14, in an atmosphere that was balanced between emotion and the festival, he honored the Rockwave Festival in his own unique way, setting up a musical ceremony where the past and the future were on stage!
The audience – from young listeners to old companions – flooded the Terra Vibe early, awaiting an appearance that, it turned out, was not just a concert but a ritual.
The beloved « Nionios » appeared with the familiar modesty and the match that characterizes him, surrounded by an excellent band with chieftain by Yiotis Kourtsoglou and distinguished musicians such as Maximus Dragon and Kallistratos Drakopoulos.
At the same time, with him three new voices – Klavdia, Alexandra Sieti and Sakis Dovolis – dressed the interpretations of freshness and styles, bringing the tradition closer to today.
Savvopoulos chose for the night those songs that summarize his « rock » phase: the « 17 -minute » « Ballo », the « Black Sea », the « jackal », as well as other iconic pieces that act as musical diaries of the Greek soul.
Among the songs, as always, space and for the reason – small, mediocre narratives, as prayers or as stories called around fire.
Indeed, Klavdia, accompanied by piano, sang « Asteromata », with whom she represented Greece at Eurovision and – once again – impressed.

His appearance was dedicated to « children with hair and black clothes » and to all who understand what it means to grow up in a country that is constantly changing, changing without forgetting. It was a « reverse hittler » – as he had described it – from Athens to Thessaloniki and behind, from then to now …
And so, everyone was gone a little more full of Terra Vibe. Not because they heard something new, but because they remembered all that … they shouldn’t forget!
