Four patients are returning from the fire in Kocani from abroad
The Ministry of Health informs this afternoon that four more patients who were injured in the fire in Kocani are returning from abroad and will be held under the observation of the Plastic Surgery Clinic and the St. Naum Ohrid Clinic for Surgical Diseases.
– More specifically, one of the patients arrived in Sofia yesterday, two patients returning from Belgrade today, and the fourth patient is due to arrive tomorrow from Sofia, with 11 more patients from injured in the fire in Kocani in foreign medical centers. Patients who are being treated abroad are in stable condition – the Ministry of Health explains.
As they add, specialists from the Plastic Surgery Clinic regularly go to the General Hospital in Kocani and perform overview, dressings and trines of injured patients, as well as physical medicine specialists and specialists from psychiatry are involved in the treatment of people with burns.
« The Ministry of Health is continuously monitoring the situation with the injured patients, in order to provide the best possible treatment, as well as further rehabilitation, » they said.
In the fire at the Pulse disco, which broke out early in the morning on March 16, 62 people were killed and nearly 200 were injured and taken to hospitals across the country and medical centers abroad.
