Four new most powerful EV charging stations have been opened in Kaunas

Electric car charging stations, which started one of the most powerful in Kaunas city recently, were installed at the DP Acetate factory from the Industrial Avenue. Their total power is 720 kW, which means that some newer and high -charging drivers with electric vehicles are up to 80 percent. They will be able to charge them in just over 10 minutes.

The power of two simultaneous electric car charging stations will be 360 kW and four vehicles will be able to load 180 kW. The new electric car charging stop is supplied and administered by Dainavos Elektrala, which provides sustainable energy and DP Acetate factory.

The electric car charging cost at a new stop for € 0.30 per 1 kW.
According to M. Ugianski, this week, after providing the electric car drivers’ community to load them very quickly in Kaunas, the company is already planning to install additional and more powerful, more than 400 kW, in the near future.
DP Acetate has been following a strict sustainability policy that contributes to the environmental foster business for many years. At the end of last year, a 1,000 kW solar park was installed on the roof of the factory. In the first half of this year, DP Acetate will also implement the second phase of the 900 kW Sun Park, even twice as much as planned.

DP Acetate, which operates in Kaunas, is the only factory in Europe to produce acetate threads from wood cellulose. DP Acetate yarn is used to make clothes, home textiles, and they also make medical patches. The company has received a certificate from the Oeko Tex Standard 100, which confirms that the products it produces is harmless to humans and the environment.
