Four dead on the roads during GNR Easter operation
GNR registered 2,116 road accidents, under Operation Easter 2025, starting on 11 April.
The more than two thousand claims caused four deaths, serious injuries in 44 people and light people in 608, according to GNR statement, released Monday.
One of the deadly victims, a 34 -year -old man, was registered in the last 24 hours, following a despair of Sunday morning on the 246 National Road in Arrinho, Portalegre District.
In total, 70,057 drivers were inspected, of which 667 driving with excessive alcohol, of which 405 were arrested with an alcohol rate in the blood of 1.2 g/l, 218 people had no driving license.
PSP data, also released Monday in a statement, report 1,285 accidents, resulting in 396 injured, 21 serious injuries and 375 minor injuries, and no deadly victim was registered.
PSP has supervised 14,689 drivers and controlled by radar 58,445 vehicles.
More than 800 people have been detained by PSP, since April 11, most of the road crimes.
61 suspects were also arrested for crimes against and 54 for drug trafficking, and more than 45,200 individual doses were seized.
In the same period were also registered 440 occurrences of domestic violence and 13 suspects for the commission of this crime.
In the context of prohibited possession or trafficking of weapons, the PSP seized 55 weapons, 17 of fire, 23 white and 15 of other typologies.
